Ayurvedic Yoga
What is Ayurveda?
". . . Ayurveda is the science which describes the benefits and disadvantages, the happiness and sorrows of life, in addition to what is good or bad for life, as well as life's measurement itself." - Charaka Samhita Sutrasta
'Ayur' in Sanskrit means life and Veda means knowledge. Ayurveda is the most complete holistic science, a real science of life. Ayurveda opens a universe of possibilities teaching us to help, know, understand, respect and love our physical, emotional, energetic, mental, and spiritual being. Ayurveda also teaches us how to live on this planet, Mother Earth, as a human being and as a divine soul.
What is Yoga?
"Yoga is the cessation of the wavering of the mind" - Patanjali's Yoga Sutras
Yoga (yuj, in Sanskrit) means union. Yoga teaches how to dissolve blocks such as fear, anxiety, stress, and self-imposed limitations, through practice of postures and breathing techniques.
